Join the Mosquito Joe team! Mosquito Joe, a local and family-owned company, is looking for Mosquito Control Field Technicians for full and/or part time positions.

The technician job is a seasonal position taking place during the active mosquito spray season, typically between April and October. The number of hours worked per week can vary depending on customer needs, technician preference and availability. Once October hits, stay on and join our Holiday Lighting business until February. Assist in Installation and takedown of residential and commercial customized holiday lighting.

What We Do:

Up to $3500 in bonuses

Mosquito Joe provides services to make Outside Fun Again for our customers. We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, killing and repelling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks and fleas.
Technicians are trained mosquito control experts who travel to customers in company vehicles to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard mosquito free for 21 days or provide special events services to keep guests chatting and laughing instead of scratching and slapping.

What You’ll Do

Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, ticks, and/or fleas at customer locations
Maintain good customer relationships.
Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems.
Maintain accurate and complete records according to New York State requirements.
Participate in team meetings.
Complete training and education requirements
Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
Explain and promote our services to potential customers.

Requirements

Able to walk customer properties while carrying equipment weighing about 60 lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures.
Reliable
Outstanding customer service skills
Friendly with great communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable driving to customer locations
Self-confident
Professional
Detail oriented
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
Quick learner
Ability to climb up and down ladders for potential work on roof tops.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
